З історії розвитку щелепно-лицевої травматології до постановки питання

У статті подано науково-історичний огляд літератури з питань розвитку щелепно-лицевої травматології. Мета дослідження – проаналізувати дані літературних джерел щодо хронології розвитку щелепно-лицевої травматології, виявити позитивні та негативні моменти. Для досягнення поставленої мети для з’ясування стану проблеми використано бібліосемантичний метод та проаналізовано результати попередніх наукових досліджень на основі літературних та електронних ресурсів. Основна частина. Дані про історичні етапи розвитку щелепно-лицевої травматології, принципи надання допомоги при ушкодженнях черепно-лицевої ділянки, розробку ортопедичних конструкцій для репозиції та фіксації уламків щелепи, а також їх ускладнення представлені в літературі розрізнено, а часом і суперечливо. . Наведено варіанти репозиції та фіксації уламків нижньої щелепи, інструменти та пристрої, описано конструкційні матеріали. Висновок. З'ясовано історичні факти, повідомлено цікаві подробиці, наведено рідкісні документи. В умовах сучасної війни ми спостерігаємо збільшення кількості воїнів із травматичними ушкодженнями щелепно-лицевої ділянки, посттравматичними дефектами та деформаціями обличчя, що є наслідком неналежної та несвоєчасної медичної допомоги на полі бою. Тому, виходячи з історичного досвіду, необхідно мати алгоритм дій при таких пораненнях безпосередньо на полі бою, в госпіталях та реабілітаційних центрах
