Анотація

Результати численного фундаментального анкетування, етнографічного і фольклорного матеріалу, зібраного під час польових досліджень представлені в даній статті. Поява серйозних теоретичних розробок румунських вчених призводять сьогодні до процесу осмислення величезного масиву емпіричного матеріалу, накопиченого протягом більш ніж сторіччя. З меншою кількістю використаних буковинських матеріалів, але з високою часткою теоретичної фундаментальності до цього ряду слід долучити монографію І. Гіною. «Цей світ, той світ» і роботу Н.А. Штюк «На порозі білого світла», в яких обряди, які супроводжують появу на світ новонародженого людини, отримують глибинну філософську колоратуру.
